About Us

ColoringBooksAdults.com is an independent resource for adults who want to relax, create, and enjoy coloring with confidence. We publish practical coloring guides, thoughtful book reviews, art-supply advice, and a growing library of original printable coloring pages.

Our purpose

Our goal is simple: make adult coloring easier to start and more rewarding to continue. We help readers discover suitable books and tools, learn approachable techniques, and find free pages they can print at home. We aim to give every article a clear purpose and every recommendation enough context to help readers make their own choice.

How our printable pages are created

Each free printable begins with an original concept developed for this website. We define the subject, composition, level of detail, and intended coloring experience, then create a new black-and-white line-art design. Every selected page is reviewed for clear outlines, usable white space, print-friendly contrast, and suitability for standard home printers. We also check that the page contains no logos, watermarks, or copied characters.

Some collections use generative design tools under our editorial direction. Collection-level notes distinguish documented generative-tool use, historical source material, and cases where the production method is not established. “Original” describes a design prepared for this site; it does not mean hand-drawn or AI-free. We select, review, name, organize, and publish only the pages that meet our quality standards. Designs that are unclear, repetitive, or difficult to print are not included.

How we review coloring books and supplies

The Coloring Books Editorial Team distinguishes publisher-researched buying guides, visual reviews of digital copies, and hands-on tests of printed books or supplies. Each review should identify the evidence used and any complimentary copy received. A digital preview can support observations about illustration style and layout; it cannot establish paper quality, binding performance, print quality or marker bleed-through.

We report paper weight, page sidedness and media compatibility only when supported by the exact edition’s documented specifications or an identified physical test. When a detail has not been established, we say so. We do not present suggested coloring techniques as tested results. Product editions and availability can change, so confirm current details with the publisher or retailer before ordering.

Learn how we assess artwork-process evidence, compare editions in the Artist & AI Transparency Index, or send a correction through our contact page.

Editorial independence and affiliate disclosure

ColoringBooksAdults.com may participate in affiliate programs, including Bookshop.org and other networks. If you buy through an eligible link, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not determine our editorial conclusions, and we aim to explain both strengths and limitations when reviewing a product.

Using our free coloring pages

Our free printables are available for personal, non-commercial use. You may print them for yourself or for a small, free activity in your household, classroom, library, or community group. You may not sell the files or printed pages, upload or redistribute the original files, include them in another product, or remove site credit where it appears. AI evidence and attribution policy

We distinguish warning signs from proof, prefer named artists and documented publisher or process evidence, and never accuse a creator of AI use from visual clues alone. We do not issue unsupported “verified non-AI” labels. Read our evidence-based verification guide.
