These colors are oil-based soft, and the pigment of the colors is solid and saturated. You can very quickly paint with them in many layers of paint. The pencils are soft but do not need to be sharpened often – in this aspect, and they are more reminiscent of the polychrome than the Prism Color, which is very quiet and needs sharpening more often.
The pencil’s core (inner part) is relatively thick, which is very good (3.6 in Marco Renoir while Prism Color is four wide), and the pencils are intense and do not break easily.
