The diverse and rich cultural heritage of New Mexico is preserved and celebrated by the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs (NMDCA). Our multilingual alphabet coloring book A is for artists, and our bilingual activity book Tails & Tales is based on New Mexico themes.
Twenty-seven artists from around the state illustrate A is for Artist. With DCA Activity Book: Tails & Tales, educators from fourteen of our NMDCA divisions worked together to create this interactive booklet filled with arts, science, history, and culture activities. Our family hopes these activity books will be educational and fun. And when you can, they hope you will visit some of our locations around the state to learn more about what makes New Mexico so unique and wonderful.
