Coloring Book Aretha Franklin

A new coloring book is paying tribute to Aretha Franklin on what would have been the Queen of Soul’s 80th birthday. Authored by Cynthia Henley and Co-authored and illustrated by renowned and prolific artist Curtis Lewis. A husband and wife team both raised in Aretha’s hometown of Detroit. Henley is a professional journalist who has contributed works for newspapers like the Detroit Free Press and The Birmingham Eccentric. Together, they have authored and developed over 22 coloring and educational reading books. Lewis is a prolific artist whose unique relationship with the Franklin family began with Rev. C.L. Franklin more than 45 years ago. Several family members, including Aretha, have commissioned him. This coloring and reading book is the ONLY OFFICIALLY LICENSED edition by the Franklin Estate. There are two beautifully designed versions of the book, a standard version and a mini/pocket version for travel.
