The Story Behind the Pages
Jane Horton’s passion for history and art led her to approach the Colne Valley Museum in Golcar with the idea for this book. Over the course of a year, she painstakingly researched, gathered images, and transformed them into detailed line drawings. Her dedication shines through every page and brings a piece of Colne Valley’s past to life.
This project marks Jane’s second venture into historical colouring books. Her first, created for Sheffield’s General Cemetery Trust, received widespread acclaim. She’s currently working on a third book, inspired by the beauty of flowers.
